CRCP using pre-made rolls

The Pre-made roll is a high quality, precision dimensioned, welded mat of reinforcing steel bars.
When rolled out and installed using our purpose built JIG machine equipment, the result is a mat of rebar with correct spacing, side cover, saw-cut joint gaps all in the correct location, all Laps are engineered and as designed, no errors or problems.

With the rolls being prefabricated by a computer controlled machine, delivered to site, and installed by HIAB crane/semi-trailer, there is no manual handling involved.

Daily production is exceptional, and can be increased by the number of steelfixers used, 500 Lineal metres/day production is easily managed.

Premade rolls are now used in Tunnel pavements, the Brisbane Airport Link project being the latest successful installation.

THE STOCKBAR OPTION

Requires twice as much labour as the pre-made rolls product, and is far more dependent on manual handling, raising certain OH&S issues. We consider and recommend using the pre-made rolls as the way to go.
